Wanted: TREKKING BUDDY for sale in 100 Mile House, British Columbia

I HAVE POSTED an ad previously seeking a backcountry buddy for my Malamute and I. I am posting it again, as I have not yet found what I'm looking for. Maybe an idea ... but not too sure just yet.

I'm looking for a large-breed dog to add to our home and family.

This dog would live a great life of camping, hiking, mountaineering, snowshoeing all while accompanying me on my treks to the BC and Alberta Rockies.

I have specifics that I need in an adult dog:
must have long hair or double coat
must be great with other dogs, cats, horses, kids, etc.
have good recall
travels in vehicle well
not a fence-jumper
able to accompany me, with ease, on 3-day treks
MUST be male

In a puppy, I am only looking for a breed or mixed breed who has a double coat or longer hair. A pup who has the disposition to be friendly, social and active when need be, but who will also lounge about on the off days, easily enough.

Malamute
Pyr
Catahoula
Husky (Alaskan or Sibe)
Retriever
Caucasian Mountain Dog
Our home is situated on fenced acreage, with plenty of room to run in and out of the fenced perimeter. We back onto Crown Land and this is the dogs' "backyard" on the days we're not out. The dogs are indoor/outdoor and fed an exceptional raw diet. Vet care is at the top; I am an AHT as well as having 27 years of living with dogs.
